The decisive factor for the wholesaler and manufacturer of accessories in the photo, video, audio, computer, telecommunications and consumer electronics product areas to look for software was the high manual effort involved in order processing and the lack of transparency and control in the transport overview. The ordering process is handled in the portal, i.e. after receipt of the order from Hama's ERP system, order responses and order changes are first clarified in the portal. After final completion, the order and shipping notification information is sent to the ERP system.”
Hama's production partners can also create transport bookings with freight forwarders and provide all the necessary information via SUPPLIERCOLLABORATION.NET. Containers from the interim storage facility are listed in the portal and sorted according to their storage times in order to control effective container retrieval.
