Efficiency, structure and standardization of processes in the warehouse: The direction of travel for the fabric expert Hemmers Itex was clear. In 2020, the wholesale company from Nordhorn decided to introduce a warehouse management system to minimize warehouse throughput times and thereby improve delivery times. The choice fell on DILOS, the proven warehouse management system of the software provider REMIRA. By using the WMS, Hemmer Itex was able to improve delivery time and delivery quality by 40%, among other things, and halve the error rate in order picking.   

To ensure that there is no "fire" in the warehouse, the Gemeinschaft Feuerwehrfachhandel Deutschland (gfd®) has been relying on the REMIRA DILOS warehouse management system since March 2021. With the help of the software, gfd was able to map its multi-level logistics concept with picking and reserve warehouse. In addition, the picking process and resource planning were made more structured and transparent. 

REMIRA continues to grow internationally and acquires the Kyklos Group from Italy: With the acquisition and integration of the company specializing in SCM software for the fashion and luxury goods industry, REMIRA is further expanding its product range and market. The provider of supply chain solutions for manufactures, retail and logistics is thus increasing its presence in the strategically important growth market of Italy.
