Blue Diamond Growers develope S&OP with OUTPERFORM Planning

After a successful implementation of Data Shelter in June 2011, Blue Diamond Growers decided to extend their use of the Outperform software to include Replenishment planning and Master Scheduling. Once complete in April 2012, Blue Diamond's Sales and Operations Planning process will be run with REMIRA software. OUTPERFORM Planning will be tightly integrated with the Adage ® ERP system through its Data Shelter functionality.

With Rijk Zwaan Australia, another 4 users have stepped on board for their daily job of demand forecasting and replenishment planning. Demand Planning is now supporting 38 users in The Netherlands (Benelux), Spain (including Morocco), France, Italy, UK, Germany RZ GmbH (covering Germany, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania), Poland, Portugal, Israel (managed by RZ Export) and Australia. Subsequent roll outs scheduled for July this year will be to RZ Export for South Korea, Greece, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan and Iran and to Hungary.

Outperform has been listed in the challengers quadrant, which we feel confirms our strong execution capabilities, domain expertise and commitment to the customers we serve. This Magic Quadrant examines vendors that provide S&OP systems of differentiation. Supply chain and IT leaders can use this report when evaluating and selecting such a system to help enable Stage 4 S&OP maturity. To be included in the Magic Quadrant process, vendors must meet certain criteria such as product functionality and configurability, global coverage and revenue. Yogi Tea plans with OUTPERFORM Planning

Last year, Yogi Tea approached Outperform for a Sales and Operations Planning solution. The company which has for over 40 years stood for delicious herb and spice teas in dry and ready to drink products was an immediate match. The challenge is in production of intermediates being in one place, filling and packaging in another and stock holding and distribution from several other locations. To plan this efficiently and effectively a more holistic view of the supply chain was needed. Following a three-month trial period Yogi Tea moved forward to implement the solution for the Ready to Drinks division with plans for further roll out to other business units. Outperform is integrated with Exact Globe Next, Yogi Tea’s ERP system.

Nature’s Pride, a Netherlands based supplier of a wide range of unique fruits and vegetables, has selected Outperform for the scheduling of the packing operations. Nature’s Pride processes around 500 production orders each day across 35 production lines. The schedule needs to fit the tight windows between earliest start and deadline, products need to be in the truck as fresh as possible and ripened exactly to customer specification. Outperform supports making that puzzle and dealing with the operational exceptions, day after day.
